Join Dougie and The Machrie golf team on the practice range for a relaxed morning of golf, stories, and conversation. Take part in a friendly golf challenge, pick up a few tips, and enjoy the chance to meet one of Scotland’s best-known sporting broadcasters.
There’ll be prizes for both first and last place, followed by a book signing and the opportunity for a blether with Dougie.
Author and food writer Julie Lin will host a lunch prepared by Another Place, The Machrie Head chef, Calum Hall, using recipes from Julie’s beautiful book, Sama Sama: Comfort Food from My Malaysian-Scottish Kitchen. Praised by the likes of Nigella Lawson and Yotam Ottolenghi, the celebrated chef and broadcaster will have lots of mouth-watering stories to share.
